His journey into trading was neither immediate nor straightforward. Before becoming a professional trader, Prince built an academic and professional career in accounting and auditing. He graduated from Pentecost University with a First-Class Honours degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and was recognized as the Overall Best Accounting Student and Overall Best Male Graduating Student in 2021.
He also holds diplomas in Computer Networking and Computer Hardware.
His professional background includes working as an accountant and auditor, including experience with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Fountain of Knowledge Academy, Golden Africa Company, and Tabariyeng & Associates. But despite his academic and professional achievements, Prince began searching for something beyond the conventional career path.
The Beginning of the Trading Journey
Prince first encountered forex trading in February 2022 while serving at the national service level. However, discovering trading did not immediately mean becoming a trader. He did not trade throughout 2022.
In 2023, he enrolled in a beginner’s mentorship programme and began learning about forex more seriously. His demanding professional schedule, however, made it difficult to dedicate the necessary time to the market.
At the time, he was working long hours and began questioning whether the traditional career path was the life he wanted permanently.
He had already achieved one of his greatest academic ambitions. He had graduated with First Class Honours and emerged as the overall best male graduating student at Pentecost University. Yet after the satisfaction of those achievements faded, he felt there was still a void.
Working from early morning until late at night, while trying to balance family, faith and personal aspirations, made him realize that he wanted to build a future where he could have greater control over his time and affairs.
As a Christian who believes strongly in divine direction, Prince began praying about his future.
One Friday morning, while travelling to work, he experienced what he describes as a strong inner prompting around the word “trading.”
Later that morning at the office, he was able to connect his internet to his laptop. He turned to YouTube, and for the first time, came across an advertisement about forex trading.
Curiosity took over.
He began researching forex and gradually discovered the financial markets.
That experience became the beginning of a journey that would eventually change the direction of his life. Pasted markdown
Meeting Eyram Dela — The Marketgod
A major turning point came in mid-2024, when Prince met Ghanaian forex and gold trader Eyram Dela, popularly known as The Marketgod, at El Bernard Church.
Eyram took an interest in him and gave him access to his mentorship without charge.
Through coaching, guidance and exposure, Prince began to see trading differently. Eyram also recognized that Prince had the potential to do more if he had the time to dedicate himself fully to the market.
At the time, Prince was working as an accountant at Golden Africa Company in Tema. His job was demanding, leaving him with very limited time for trading. Often, the only opportunity he had to study the market was around midnight, after which he would have to wait until the following night.
Prince eventually reached a difficult decision.
He knew that continuing with accounting meant maintaining the career he had already built. But he also believed that trading was the path he was meant to pursue.
After extensive consultation with his dad, his close friend Muniru Seidu, and his mentor Eyram Dela, he made the bold decision to leave his accounting career and pursue trading professionally.

Finding His Edge
The early stages of his professional trading journey were far from easy.
Capital was one of his biggest challenges. Having limited funds meant that losses affected his psychology heavily. He became attached to the money he could afford to deposit and struggled to accept losses as a normal part of trading.
Perfectionism became another obstacle.
Prince had accumulated knowledge of numerous trading approaches and at one point had around ten different strategies in his head. Instead of giving him clarity, the amount of information created confusion.
He would see too much in the market.
There were trades that his analysis suggested he should take, but his desire for perfection prevented him from executing them.
A major psychological breakthrough came when his mentor, Eyram Dela, openly shared some of his own trading losses and explained how he had recovered from them.
For Prince, this changed his perspective.
He realized that even highly successful traders experience losses.
If someone he respected could take losses, remain disciplined and continue to become profitable, then he could also accept losses without allowing them to define him.
The next breakthrough came when he decided to stop jumping between strategies and focus on one system.
On February 5, 2025, Prince discovered the trading strategy and approach that worked for him personally. He began developing, refining and trading it professionally.
By August 17, 2026, he had marked one year and eight months of developing and professionally trading the strategy that became his personal edge. Pasted markdown
Structural Institutional Concept
Prince’s methodology is known as the Structural Institutional Concept, developed from what he previously referred to as SLP — Structure, Liquidity and Point of Interest.
His approach is built around understanding what price is doing rather than simply predicting where price will go.
At the foundation is market structure.
He studies structure across timeframes, identifies areas where traders may have been induced into positions through misleading or false movements, and looks for areas where institutional orders may influence the next significant movement in price.
His framework focuses on:

For Prince, a setup must satisfy specific conditions before it becomes tradable. He looks for valid structure, valid inducement, an unmitigated area and a valid Point of Interest.
His directional bias is primarily developed from higher-timeframe market structure, support and resistance and key levels.

Risk Management and Discipline
Risk management became one of the most important components of Prince’s transformation as a trader.
Depending on the account and trading conditions, he generally risks between 2% and 5% of his account size, with a target of at least 8R to 10R on a trade.
He does not trade without a stop-loss.
He also operates with a strict daily loss limit. After two losses in a day, he stops trading.
His philosophy is that traders should not allow one bad trading session to turn into emotional revenge trading.

The Setback That Changed Him
In June 2025, Prince experienced a major setback after revenge trading and taking more risk than his normal plan allowed.
The situation became worse after he took a trade based heavily on the setup of a mentor he looked up to rather than relying on his own trading plan.
He eventually reached approximately 9.5% drawdown across his prop-firm accounts, had only about $25 remaining on his FTMO $10,000 account, and had lost the money he had personally allocated to trading.
At that point, trading was not simply a hobby. He was no longer working outside trading and still had responsibilities to fulfil.
Life became extremely difficult.
But the experience became one of his greatest lessons.
He learned that traders must follow their own plans, accept losses as part of the process and avoid allowing another person’s conviction to override their own analysis.
His lesson from that period remains:

One philosophy that has become central to Prince’s journey is Unlimited Enthusiasm.

The name Sena Trades comes directly from Prince’s middle name, Senanu.

After developing his own edge, Prince noticed that many people around him knew very little about the financial markets or how they could participate responsibly.
People began approaching him for guidance.
He saw an opportunity not only to teach but also to use his experience to reach more young people.
That became the foundation of Sena Trades.

He is an accountant and auditor by training, a technology enthusiast with diplomas in IT, a public speaker, a mentor, an entrepreneur and a Christian whose faith played an important role in his decision to pursue a different path.
His hobbies include long-distance driving, and his favorite book is the Bible.
He credits several people as important influences in his development, including his mentors Eyram Dela (The Marketgod) and Mr. Stefan Danquah, his father Dr. Wisdom Kwashie, and his uncle Dr. Francis Kwashie.
