Cliff Cheqona to Take TP Masterclass to Nigeria in 2027

Ghanaian identity and behavioural speaker, author and entrepreneur Cliff Cheqona is set to expand his TP Masterclass to Nigeria in 2027, with physical events planned for Lagos and Abuja.
The expansion marks another significant step in the evolution of a platform that began largely around trading education but has grown into a broader conversation about identity, personal development, emotional intelligence, leadership, purpose and behavioural transformation.
TP Masterclass has produced more than 81 episodes and has already hosted physical events in Ghana and Dubai. While trading remains part of its foundation, the platform now explores a much wider range of issues affecting how people think, make decisions, build relationships and pursue their personal and professional goals.
Cheqona has been trading since 2012 and has spent more than six years mentoring traders around the world. Through that experience, he said he began to recognise an important pattern: having the right trading knowledge or strategy did not necessarily translate into consistent performance.
People could understand the technical aspects of trading and still struggle with their decisions when confronted with fear, pressure, uncertainty or financial loss.
For Cheqona, this highlighted the importance of examining the individual behind the decisions.
Factors such as discipline, fear, emotional intelligence, self-perception, belief systems and a person’s relationship with money could have as much influence on performance as technical knowledge.
“Once you start transforming the person, trading becomes too small a container,” Cheqona said.
That realisation gradually shaped TP Masterclass into a wider personal development platform. Its discussions now extend to identity, emotional intelligence, healing, faith, relationships, purpose, money, discipline, belief systems and leadership.
At the heart of the initiative is Cheqona’s belief that sustainable transformation begins internally. Rather than focusing exclusively on professional achievement or financial success, the masterclass encourages participants to examine the attitudes, behaviours and beliefs influencing their choices.
Cheqona also explores some of these ideas in his book, You Are Not a Trader Yet, which examines personal and psychological factors that can affect people throughout their trading journey.
Beyond professional development, Cheqona describes TP Masterclass as being connected to a wider spiritual mission.
“God has given me a mandate: to transform minds and raise Kingdom-aligned leaders,” he said.
This vision has increasingly shaped the direction of the platform, with Cheqona seeking to develop people who are not only financially and professionally capable but also grounded in self-awareness, discipline, character, responsibility and leadership.
Following its physical events in Ghana and Dubai, Nigeria will become the next major destination for TP Masterclass, with Lagos and Abuja selected to host the 2027 edition.
The move forms part of a broader African vision for the platform. Although Cheqona’s Ghanaian identity remains central to his story, he sees the conversations around identity, behaviour, psychology, emotional intelligence and purpose as relevant to people across the continent.
The goal is to encourage Africans to pursue financial and professional progress alongside the personal qualities required to sustain that progress and positively influence others.
TP Masterclass describes itself as “Africa’s #1 Transformation Masterclass” and seeks to create a platform that can bring together educators, entrepreneurs, psychologists, pastors, traders, creators and other thought leaders around conversations that contribute to individual and societal transformation.
Its evolution from a predominantly trading-focused platform reflects Cheqona’s growing conviction that professional performance cannot always be separated from the person behind it.
By addressing identity, emotional awareness, discipline, character and purpose, he hopes the platform can help people better understand not only what they want to achieve, but also who they need to become in the process.
“Transform the mind. Transform the person. Raise the leader. Transform the generation,” Cheqona said.
The planned Lagos and Abuja events in 2027 will therefore represent more than a geographical expansion for TP Masterclass. They will mark the next stage of Cheqona’s effort to take conversations about personal transformation, leadership and purpose to a wider African audience.
TP Masterclass airs live every Saturday at 6 p.m. UK time on the Cliff Cheqona YouTube channel.
