Meet Bright Akorli (Cwesi4rex), Business Development Manager at Valetax

For many people within Ghana’s growing forex community, the name Cwesi4rex is already familiar. Behind that name is Bright Akorli Kwesi, a trader, educator, entrepreneur and business development professional whose journey in the financial markets has gradually evolved from trading the markets to building communities, partnerships and business relationships.

Today, Bright serves as Business Development Manager at Valetax, adding another dimension to a career that has largely been built around the forex industry. His appointment brings together two sides of his professional journey: an understanding of traders and their needs, and experience in developing the relationships that connect financial businesses with the communities they serve.

Bright’s story did not begin in a corporate boardroom.

Known professionally as Cwesi4rex, he built his name within Ghana’s forex trading space through trading education, mentorship and community building. His public profile also identifies him as the founder of Cwesi4rex Academy, through which he has developed an educational brand around forex trading and trader development.

That background gives his move into business development an interesting perspective.

He understands the industry not only from the business side, but also from the position of the trader. Years spent interacting with traders, building a community and working around brokerage relationships have exposed him to the questions, expectations and challenges that exist between financial-market businesses and their clients.

Reporting on his professional journey says he has previously worked with brokers including Exness and HFM, with experience touching areas such as client acquisition, digital marketing, strategic partnerships and community growth. His current chapter at Valetax therefore represents a progression of work he has already been doing across different parts of the forex ecosystem.

His personal brand has also placed considerable emphasis on education.

Cwesi4rex has shared trading education around areas including risk management, trading discipline and psychology. In 2024, for example, he released a free e-book titled 50 Psychology Tips for Trading, focused on the psychological side of participating in the forex market.

Beyond trading and business, Bright has also extended the Cwesi4rex name into philanthropy. In June 2026, the Cwesi4rex Foundation was reported to have undertaken an outreach in Accra, distributing food and essential supplies to vulnerable people, including homeless individuals and street children.

These different parts of his journey—trading, education, community building, business development and social impact—help explain the professional identity he is building today.

As Business Development Manager at Valetax, the work now goes beyond knowing the markets. It is about people.

It is about starting the right conversations.

It is about understanding what clients and partners need.

It is about building relationships that last beyond a single transaction.

And importantly, it is about identifying where the interests of traders, partners and the business can meet to create genuine value.

That is why the message behind Bright’s current role is particularly fitting:

Building connections. Creating opportunities. Driving growth together.

In a relationship-driven industry, technical knowledge alone is rarely enough. Trust matters. Communication matters. Reputation matters. And the ability to understand the people on the other side of the business matters.

Bright Akorli’s journey as Cwesi4rex has given him exposure to several of these worlds.

From building his identity within Ghana’s forex community to educating traders, developing a trading community and working around broker partnerships, his career has continued to expand beyond the charts.

His position at Valetax represents the next stage of that development: taking years of industry exposure and putting it to work in business development, relationship building and growth.

And perhaps that is what makes his story worth following.

Cwesi4rex may be the name many traders first came to know, but Bright Akorli the business professional is increasingly becoming another important part of that story.

The trader understands the market.

The educator understands the learner.

The community builder understands people.

And the Business Development Manager has the opportunity to bring all three perspectives together.
