Prop Firm Match Delists Alpha Futures Following Premium Plan Controversy

Prop Firm Match has officially announced the immediate delisting of Alpha Futures from its platform following recent developments surrounding the firm’s Premium Plan.

The decision comes after Alpha Futures confirmed on 12 July 2026 that it was shutting down its Premium Plan, a move that has generated significant discussion within the proprietary trading community.

Why Alpha Futures Was Delisted

According to Prop Firm Match, Alpha Futures stated that:

  • All active Premium Plan accounts would be closed and refunded.
  • Pending payouts earned under the Premium Plan would not be honored, except for those that had already been paid.
  • Its NinjaTrader (Tradovate) agreement ended on 12 July 2026.
  • Zero, Advanced, and Direct account holders would be transitioned to the firm’s proprietary AlphaTrader platform.

While acknowledging the firm’s operational changes, Prop Firm Match expressed concerns over the handling of traders who had already generated profits under the Premium Plan.

Concerns Over Unpaid Earnings

In its statement, Prop Firm Match argued that traders should not lose payouts they legitimately earned without violating any clearly defined trading rules.

The company stated that discontinuing a product does not justify withholding earned payouts and noted that refunding challenge fees does not replace profits that traders had already generated.

Prop Firm Match also pointed out that migration options were offered to holders of other account types, while Premium Plan traders were not given a comparable transition path—something it believes raises further concerns about fairness.

Lack of Prior Communication

Another factor cited in the delisting decision was the lack of advance communication from Alpha Futures.

According to Prop Firm Match, it did not receive prior notice or meaningful information regarding a decision that materially affected both traders and Alpha Futures’ listing on the platform.

Support for Affected Traders

Prop Firm Match is encouraging traders affected by the Premium Plan closure who used the MATCH discount code when purchasing their account to complete a support form.

The company says the information will help it assess the impact on its users and determine what assistance may be available.

Industry Impact

The Alpha Futures situation has become one of the most widely discussed developments in the proprietary trading industry, prompting reactions from traders, affiliates, and industry observers alike.

As events continue to unfold, affected traders are encouraged to stay informed through official communications from Alpha Futures and carefully review any updates regarding refunds, account transitions, or payout policies.
