Trader Accuses E8 Markets of Withholding $94,000 Payouts Amid Risk Dispute

Finance lawyer and trader Eze Kingsley Ohaji, on E8 Markets’ highest funding level, claimed the prop firm denied his $40,000 and $54,000 payout requests despite over $87,000 in profits and low drawdowns.
Eze Kingsley posted via X: ‘When a proprietary trading firm like
introduces multiple new products within a short period, such as E8 Minus, E8 Zero, and E8 One, it should warrant closer attention. I am on the maximum allocation with the firm. I first submitted a withdrawal request for $40,000 and later submitted another for $54,000. The requests were not processed, and I was given explanations that did not resolve the issue or the two payouts. I subsequently requested a refund of the fees I paid to purchase the accounts, but that request also failed to produce a satisfactory outcome. Based on my experience, the firm is relying heavily on new product offerings and incoming account purchases to support its operations. At this stage, my primary concern is no longer the withdrawals or the refund. My concern is ensuring that other traders are aware of my experience. After seeing this warning, anyone who still decides to trade with
must accept full responsibility for that decision. Whatever happens next is entirely on you.’
E8 Markets responded by detailing how Ohaji risked 4% then 7% on single trade ideas during evaluation and funded phases, breaching guidelines even after warnings and a fresh account offer.
The firm, which has paid out over $75 million publicly, stressed its SimFi model rewards disciplined trading, while community views split on whether the rules were clear or subjective.
